I have heard several comments (also regarding the Henry used in the Good, Bad and the Ugly)regarding a Yellowboy made to look like a Henry, but what a lot of people don't realize is that there were actually some Henrys fitted with a loading gate prior to the magazine tube being sealed up and the forestock installed. It was actually produced that way for a short time, originally from the factory. It came to be known as the transitional model. As most know, it was the idea of the factory foreman.
